The main trick of the game is that here all events, soldiers’ weapon uniforms and even the small nuances are based on historical data obtained through research. Events are developing on the Italian front where the struggle for possession of the Isonzo river and the Alps has been going on for 2 years. Before battles are offered to choose equipment, as well as the role of the character, for example, a sniper who can destroy targets from a long distance before they have time to cause damage. Locations are mainly represented as mountains, mountain ranges, ruined cities and rivers through which the player encounters a mass of enemies. First you need to decide on one side of the conflict – this is the Kingdom of Italy and the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
The user finds himself on the maps created with historical accuracy. The gameplay is based on tactical combat, which provides the use of authentic weapons and devices of the selected period, including artillery fire and poison gas. The shooter takes the player into battle, moving through mountain peaks, rocky valleys and cities in northern Italy. Isonzo brings to life the brutal realities of World War I where the user must act in the Alps.
